A sun tan always used to be seasonal but self-tanning has now become a must from winter to summer. When trying to achieve the sun kissed glow many self tan lotions can leave skin orange, streaky and smelling horrible, all tell-tale signs that your colour is not so natural!

To solve all your tanning problems Oy! has developed a gradual tanning moisturiser for your face & neck that you can apply daily to build up a lovely sun kissed tan without the orange streaks and nasty smell! Used every morning on your face and neck, gone will be the need for lots of heavy make-up, you’ll be glowing naturally!

Now for the sciency bit…..

Oy!’s Soft Glow Gradual Tan works to give you an even tan without the need for any UV exposure. The active ingredient Dihydroxyacetone, or DHA for short, is what is used to create the tanned appearance. DHA is the most efficient and safe self-tanning agent on the market. It is a molecule naturally present in plant and human cells and is produced during the breakdown of simple sugars.

When applied to your body, DHA reacts with amino acids found in the outer layers of the skin to form brown pigments known as melanoidin that give the appearance of a suntan.

The tanned appearance closely resembles a real tan in both colour and depth. It can be used to maintain an existing tan, or give a tanned appearance before a holiday or any special occasion. Using DHA has none of the risks associated with sun exposure.

Oy!’s Gradual Tan is a non-greasy lotion, formulated with organic Aloe Vera and Rosehip oil to soothe and nourish the skin. Delicately scented with vanilla, orange and mandarin essential oils, suitable for both men and women.

It is important to note that although the skin will develop a tanned appearance, it will not offer the same protection against UV light that a regular suntan gives. If going into the sun, use a sun lotion with a suitable Sun Protection Factor. To protect your face try Oy!’s Face the Sun SPF15 Facial Moisturiser.
