If you have been looking at the Oy! products you may will have noticed that they are all wonderfully organic and natural. This is because this organic skin care range has been designed to keep your skin as healthy as can be! In Oy! products you will only find the best ingredients, such as organic essential oils and natural plants extracts.

If you haven’t already seen it, you should read our other article: Ingredients we don’t use, and you will see that not all companies are as picky about their ingredients.

Green Tea - Green Tea is rich in antioxidants to protect the skin against attack from free-radicals caused by sun exposure, pollution and everyday living. It is also blissfully soothing and helps reduce the redness of the skin caused by inflammation.
Found in: Cleanse & Moisturise, Anti-bac Foaming Face wash, Active Spot Cover

Willow Bark - Willow extract is a non-irritating source of plant acids. It helps speed up cell turnover to keep skin soft and young-looking, and helps support a healthy skin flora (these are the good bugs that live on the skin to keep it free from nasty germs) Willow extract has also been used to help kill the bacteria related to acne as well as exfoliating the skin; you can’t get better than that!

Prebiotics - These are included in our organic skin products to encourage and support the good bacteria that live on your skin to help them fight away and banish the evil bacteria that cause all the spots. In short this ingredient will help your skin stay clean all by itself.

Omega 3&6 - Rosehip, Sunflower and Hemp oils are great sources of essential fatty acids. Hemp oil is made up of 80% essential fatty acids and contains the ideal proportion of omega 3&6. It does not just coat the skin but also nourishes and prevents moisture loss. Also suitable for eczema, acne, psoriasis and minor cuts.

Tea Tree – This is a concentrated extract with specific antibacterial and antifungal properties. It is classed as an antimicrobial ingredient as it can help to control the bacteria that leads to the dreaded spots. Found in many of Oy!’s products it is one of the key ingredients making the range perfect for use on young, blemish prone skin.

Rosehip - The oil extracted from rosehip has excellent tissue regenerative properties which can help prevent any horrible blemishes scarring your skin. It also promotes healthy skin through its high concentration of Vitamin E and fatty acids. Rosehip helps to moisturise, soothe and soften the skin.

Pineapple Extract - This fruity ingredient has a variety of positive effects on the skin. It can help to remove dead damaged skin and improve hydration whilst also promoting clearer looking skin.

Seaweed - This is blended with the natural mineral Illite; this mineral rich blend has a deep cleansing and nourishing action on the skin, and can help to control excess sebum production (the oil that can lead to spots).
