If you have anorexia or bulimia and are thinking of getting help, hopefully you’ll find what you need here. Wanting to take action takes a lot of courage and making the move to get support is an important first step to beating your illness.

Alternatively, you may have a friend or family member who you think might have some sort of an eating disorder, and are looking for information on how best to talk to them and to try and help them. We hope the resources below provide the advice and guidance you need.

Beat is one of the largest UK charities which focuses on anorexia and bulimia in young people. It provides support for those with eating disorders in loads of different ways:
