Willow Bark (Salix nigra (willow) bark extract)

The bark of the white willow is rich in salicylin - a non-irritating plant acid and a gentle, natural alternative to salicylic acid (Beta Hydroxy Acid (BHA)).

Willow Bark extract has anti-inflammatory properties (reduces skin irritation) and help regulate the production of the skins natural protective oils (sebum).

Willow bark gently exfoliates the skin and support a healthy skin flora, thereby ‘killing’ bacteria related to acne.
