60% of teens expect to burn!

A Cancer Research UK survey found that 60% of 16 to 24 year olds thought they were likely to get sunburnt on holiday.

This is a scary statistic when you consider that sunburn can double your risk of skin cancer!

Excessive sun exposure and sunburn during early life affect melanoma risk later on in life according to Cancer Research.

When you were growing up, your parents probably smothered you with sun cream all the time but if you have now left home or are holidaying with your friends it’s very easy to slip into bad habits in the hope of getting a tan.

Teenagers and young adults are known to be key sun-seeking group and less likely to stay safe in the sun.
